Hampshire Highways state: While the schedule allows for potential delays, adverse weather or unforeseen circumstances may still lead to short-notice changes. We will make every effort to provide timely updates, although communicating these to the public at short notice can be challenging. Advance warning signs will be installed before the start of works, and local residents and businesses will receive a Residents Letter notifying them of the works.
Please note the resident letter also states: For your safety and that of the workforce, we cannot guarantee vehicle access to properties during the closure. If you need to make an essential journey, please speak to a member of the on-site team in advance. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
We have requested clarification on the span of works, resident access and the date discrepancy of 5 days but until the 3rd September. We will update with any further information received.
